- Water.
- The most important meal of the day. Ha ha. Seriously, drink water all the time. It flushes out your system, keeps your metabolism going, and best of all, reduces appetite and cravings. If you drink a lot of water, there's less room for food. It's science.
- Coffee.
- If you don't like coffee, don't drink it. If you do like coffee, good news! Caffeine has been proven in some studies to boost metabolism. It also helps you feel fuller, like any good liquid. The extra energy you get is another bonus, for obvious reasons. Side note: coffee's best feature is its zero calories. Drinking some kind of mocha-double bullshit-frappe completely defeats the purpose. You might as well put cake in a blender and drink that. Don't believe me? Look at some Starbuck's nutrition facts.
- Tea.
- Iced or hot, as long as it doesn't have sugar, tea has zero calories. Green or oolong tea may boost the metabolism, and tea of any kind is very soothing, plus flavorful and warm- the recipe for tricking your stomach into not feeling hungry for a while.
- Artificially sweetened lemonade and fruit drinks.
- These are, essentially, flavored water. They don't have a lot of benefits, but they don't have a lot of drawbacks either.

Listen, stay fucking hydrated. You've heard this before, but I'm making sure you get the message. Now, not all drinks are created equal. As a rule, I won't drink anything (except alcohol) with calories. I feel like I'm wasting those calories if I'm not using them on food. Acceptable beverages:
